Professional Experience
Irwin M. Frank began his legal career as a tax attorney with the U.S. Treasury Department and specialized in the area of Estate and Gift Tax. He then spent a number of years as in-house counsel for a public corporation, which developed real estate and built projects for multi-family, single family and commercial purposes. His clients are mainly owners of various businesses, developers of real estate, and builders of residential, multi-family, commercial and industrial properties. He has been involved in transactions for his clients and his own personal account with many of the major national users of real property including Walgreens, K-Mart, CVS, Gordon Food Service, British Aeronautics and Electronics, KFC, Taco Bell, and many of the public REITS.
Transactional work in both the business and real estate areas, as well as working with financial lenders has permitted Irwin to offer his experience and legal background to a variety of entrepreneurial clients.

Michael has been a practicing Ohio criminal defense attorney since 1974 and is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Criminal Trial Advocate and has been admitted Pro Hac Vice in other states and federal courts.
Michael’s reported decisions include State of Ohio v. Robert Cornell, 72 OOp.2d 428 (1975), Speedy Trial - Constitutional; State of Ohio v. Lee, et al., 48 Ohio St.2d 208 (1976), Speedy Trial - Statutory; James Samuel Sims v. Ted Engle, 619 F.2d 598 (1980) cert. denied, Double Jeopardy; State of Ohio v. Thomas Pearson, 62 Ohio St. 2d 291 (1980), Uncorroborated Testimony of Co-Defendant; and Pepper Pike v. Doe, 66 Ohio St.2d 374 (1981), Expungement of Arrest Records, and Lake Cty. Bar Assn v. Donald Ezzone, 102 Ohio St. 3d 79 (2004), Attorney Discipline.
Michael has published articles in The Champion (National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers); The Vindicator (Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers); the Cleveland Bar Journal; the Cuyahoga Criminal Defense Lawyers Association Newsletter and in The Criminal Law Journal of Ohio.
